Mission Statement of the Municipal Courts of Mercer County
The municipal courts, considered the doorway to the state judiciary, are dedicated to creating and maintaining an independent, professional environment where fair, efficient and knowledgeable service will be provided. Together, as a team of judges and skilled professionals, the Municipal Courts of Mercer County strive to ensure that all matters are resolved expeditiously, equitably and without bias in order to preserve the rule of law and the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution.
To appear in court or change a court date, you must contact the Municipal Court at least seven days before the court date
The Princeton Municipal Court receives and files all complaints signed by law enforcement officers and private citizens for violations that occur in Princeton.
Types of cases include violations of state traffic laws, petty disorderly and disorderly persons offenses and Princeton ordinance violations
